The Elizabeth Taylor Night of Compassion: Meeting the Moment

On September 18, 2025 we held The Elizabeth Taylor Night of Compassion: Meeting the Moment.

Following the 5th anniversary of ETAF’s The Elizabeth Taylor Ball to End AIDS, the ETAF team spent some time envisioning the next phase of our Los Angeles Anchor Event. Particularly at this moment in time, one of Elizabeth’s core values seems to stand out—compassion. Thus, we created the Elizabeth Taylor Night of Compassion, and decided to “meet the moment” through the demonstration of kindness, compassion, and generosity.

We presented American businesswoman, fashion designer, art collector, activist, and New York Times best-selling author Tina Knowles, with The Elizabeth Taylor Commitment to End AIDS Award.

The evening was hosted by Emmy award-winning host, writer, and producer, Melvin Robert. Guests enjoyed a reception and seated dinner, an exciting live performance from Jordin Sparks, and an exclusive look at items from The Elizabeth Taylor Archive including highlights from Elizabeth Taylor’s personal life, film career, and philanthropy.
